As founder of Ergo-Rehab, Inc., John Kavas sets the professional tone of the entire facility and its staff. Kavas received his Masters Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Stanford University Medical School in 1979. He also holds B.S. Degrees in Physical Education from San Jose State University (1976) and the University of Athens (1972), with honors.

Prior to that, Kavas was a member of the Greek National Track & Field Team. His natural interest in sports led him to his degrees in Physical Education and Physical Therapy, and in 1981, he established his private practice in Fremont, California.

Kavas continues his education regarding the latest treatment techniques and state-of-the-art equipment by attending seminars and workshops in physical therapy, sports medicine, and work rehabilitation. Kavas is also the founder of the Ohlone College Physical Therapy Assistant Program in Fremont, CA.

Kavas maintains a staff of equally-qualified therapists in the areas of physical therapy, hand rehabilitation, sports medicine, occupational therapy, work rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy, each with an extensive background of work experience in his/her area of expertise.

Serving the East Bay Community since 1997 Jeff graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1996. He has practiced outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for the past eight years with primary emphasis on treatment of the spine, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and foot. Jeff uses a wide range of manual therapies and rehabilitative techniques to restore maximal function and health. Special interests include functional training, core training, and rehabilitation of running and throwing injuries.
